I was lucky to find a stash of wonderful, chippy wintage farmhouse tin.

 I love working on this interesting and beautiful surface.

As I work with it I often think of the homes

where this tin came from and imagine the echoes of the past.

 

This one of a kind piece is centered around an

original collage. I have embellished this piece with

vintage forget-me-nots, rhinestone trim, netting, ribbon roses,

paper flowers, jewelrty bits, vintage celluloid rose cabochons, 

glittered butterflies, a vintage game piece, a vintage mother-of-pearl button

and various beads. A vintage key and glass beads hang from the bottom.

A rusty wire hanger completes this sweet and colorful collage.

The tin measures 6" x 6".
