I was lucky to find a stash of wonderful, chippy wintage farmhouse tin.

I love working on this interesting and beautiful surface.

As I work with it I often think of the homes where

 this tin came from and imagine the echoes of the past.

 

This one of a kind piece is centered around an image

 of a sweet eyed Edwardian girl that I've named Ava.

 She gently holds a bird's nest containing two eggs.

I have embellished this colllage with rhinestones flowers, vintage

buttons, a vintage bow pin and vintage hand-crocheted lace.

 A glittered egg, glass beads, a rusty vintage key

 and a rusty wire hanger complete this collage.

The tin measures 6" x 6".
