I really love using vintage farmhouse tin as a base for my work. This piece has, at its center, a charming vintage image from a handtinted French postcard. An angelic little girl is seated on the back of a beautiful bird. This image is fixed to the back of a distressed mirror so that bits of the silvery backing show around the edges. The effect is quite lovely and enchanting.

Around this image is a circle of vintage and newer pastel millinery flowers and pink braided trim. A sweet aqua jewelry bit and a pink wish ticket add some sparkle and magic. A rusty key, a shell button and a iridescent glass bead dangle from a chain on the bottom of the piece. This assemblage hangs from a pink iridescent glass bead chain.

Measures approx. 6 1/2" x 3" not including the dangle or hanger.
